Care instructions

THE PINE COLLECTIVE LOVES THE EARTH!!! 🍄🧡✨🌿🦋☯️
One of our favorite materials is HEMP!!!
Working with hemp cord is strong, sustainable and naturally softens over time which makes it the perfect material to enjoy adornment but adapting to an option which reduces your footprint on this beautiful planet!
(it's good karma)

These items are best if kept for intentional use! While you can do as you wish, please note that caring for your hemp products will guarantee a longer lifespan and prevents the cord from breaking.

//Caring for your hemp products//

Hemp Mala Care Guide

The pine collective’s malas are intentionally made for use as a tool to aide and enhance your meditation and affirmation practices. Most malas you will find are made with silk or nylon (plastic) cords and are often marketed for use as an adornment or tool. We choose to use hemp cord as a sustainable method of creating a sacred tool and should be treated as such - please be gentle with your mala and avoid contact with water. We provide a simple necklace as a companion with your mala for adornment and advise you not to use your mala beads as such. By wearing this mala as an adornment, it is easy to pull on it or accidentally get it caught on other objects which can cause it to break. Once it’s broken, the whole thing has to be taken apart and redone. Hand knotting malas can take several hours, and getting repairs does cost $20-$50. If your mala ever needs repairs, you can fill out a contact form on thepinecollective.com and we will get back to you asap!

Thank you endlessly for your love and support of our small business! Love, Cameron and Gabby
